Our third Courageous Homeschooling Handbook brings together 4,000 families to help those of us homeschooling with autism by showing why homeschooling can be the best choice, giving you a glimpse inside our homes and sharing what's worked.
But the Handbook doesn't just help with autism. Our Handbook also shares the most successful teaching ideas for reading, writing and math along with help for dyslexia and anxiety.
The Handbooks are unique in bringing together the largest group of homeschooling families ever to help with advice, reassurance and support.
They would make a great present for yourself to enjoy or to give to a friend who is struggling a bit and needs a helping hand over Christmas.
Firstly, thank you! I always get so much help with the newsletter from my Courageous Homeschooling Facebook Group where we share resources and give each other daily support and encouragement.

Great resource here....FREE science lessons from Mystery Science.
"I hope you don't mind me mentioning Mystery Science again. It really is a very good resource and is still free to sign up for six months for new homeschoolers." ~ Diana, Couragoues Homeschooling Group

Mystery Science is a K-5 science curriculum; well worth signing up for.
Crash Course is an educational YouTube channel. Similar to the Khan Academy in ethos, it gives free education for all.
Crash Course Kids has tons of science videos for younger children.
Crash Course covers lots of different subjects including science for older learners.
Highly recommended - thanks Allie.
Alexa has suggested SciShow Kids on YouTube. It looks great for younger children; she says her 5, 4 and even 2 year-old love it.
Thanks Alexa.

Operation Ouch on YouTube gets the thumbs up from Emily.
The best way to use these sheets and see full details of our best experiments is to visit our Kids Science Experiments page.
These courses are ones you have to pay for. I am not an affiliate of any of them I am just sharing recommendations from members of my Courageous Homeschooling Facebook Group.
"You can search by curriculum, or topic which is simple and easy. The videos are delivered professionally and there are accompanying handouts and worksheets. It's a fantastic resource to start a project from or add to a project. My son often searches for things and then we take it from there. Their tech support is also very good!"
~ Emily, Courageous Homeschooling Facebook Group
are both recommended by Bianka.
These science challenges are basically a list of great experiments to try with instructions and explanations.
"We also enjoyed working through the challenges from the Dyson website. They are fun challenges and can be adapted to work through with any aged children." ~ Diana, Courageous Homeschooling Facebook Group
