The lessons in this series contain the best self-help resources adapted to homeschooling and are based on my previous highly successful course taken by over 750 homeschoolers.
This Challenge course is for you if you're homeschooling but you are struggling to stay happy yourself.
I understand that feeling very well. My homeschool son is now at Oxford University and I always knew that teaching my children at home was the best choice for my children.
That doesn't stop me feeling unfulfilled at times and pretty down about myself. Burn out is a problem we all face.
That can't be right - and it isn't right for you either. Teaching your child at home is the most rewarding, fulfilling thing you can do; it's also scary, frustrating, difficult and isolating for you as a Mom.
The Happiness Challenge for homeschooling Moms works wherever you live because the internet gives us an amazing opportunity to make friends across the world and together we can help support each other.
Let's make some changes so we can value ourselves the way we deserve.
After all, you need to find ways to look after yourself because in the end the whole of your children’s future is in your hands.
By committing to this Happiness Challenge course for homeschooling Moms you will be taking part in lessons which have been proven to work in improving your self-esteem, confidence and happiness.
You will:
The Happiness Challenge for homeschooling Moms includes exercises which I have adapted from the most successful self-help resources together with new ideas which will help us all.
All the lessons are exercises in the special Happiness Challenge book which contains:
This
beautiful book feels like a best friend guiding you on your journey to
happiness and fulfilment. Absolutely love this book! ~ Amazon 5 star review

You do not have to buy the Happiness book in order to participate in the Homeschool Happiness Challenge course.
Each Weekly Challenge will contain a short exercise lesson for you to do which will take no more than 15 minutes a day.
However, only the Happiness book has the full course of weekly lessons. From listing your achievements to exercises on mindfulness and how to deal with overthinking, it's there for you to write in so you can look back and see how far you've come.
The book is designed as a keepsake which you can go back to over and over. You will be able to prove to yourself that you are moving further along the path towards happiness.
Every lesson is linked to a Courageous Homeschooling Facebook support group where we will all help motivate each other.
It is this active participation which makes the Happiness Challenge so unique and exciting. Rather than simply reading a book by yourself and trying to put what it says into practice, you will have your own personal support posse looking out for you.
Having a crowd cheering you on is one of the best ways to make the changes you need. You will uncover the stumbling blocks which have prevented you reaching your goal.
This Challenge is going to be an extraordinary journey that we take together.
However, I know that none of us will be comfortable sharing
everything we feel. So I have made a Happiness Journal
for you to write your personal thoughts in.
As the Challenge course gets underway, you'll see that keeping a Journal is recommended as one of the most positive steps you can take to show yourself that you really are making changes and you are making progress.
Research shows that keeping a journal can have similar benefits to counseling.
The Happiness Quotes book is designed as a gift - for yourself or as a treat for a friend. Having a book of inspiration and affirmations by you side will give you a treasure you can dip into whenever you need a boost.

I need to emphasize that this is a
self-help Challenge. Although I will lead the group and ultimately take
decisions if I feel they are required to keep the group on track, I am
not the expert. We are all in this together and you are as much
responsible for the success of the Challenge as anyone else.
The Challenge works by each of us supporting each other and coming up
with ideas to help. As a member of the Happiness Challenge, you agree
not to judge anyone, to listen carefully to what others say and to make
helpful and encouraging suggestions.
Anyone who makes
inappropriate, negative or critical remarks will be removed from the
group. This has to be a safe space where everyone feels secure. I'd
also like us to our keep our
political and religious views to ourselves as this group is focused on
helping each other and I want all
of us to feel a part of a group which will help everyone whether they
are religious or not. Anything said in the group must not be shared
outside of it.
P.S. I am not professionally trained and the Happiness Challenge exercises and ideas are ones you undertake on your own responsibility. Members may have issues which are beyond the scope of this Challenge; if so, I may suggest a member seeks professional help outside of the group.
Yes. The Challenge course will run weekly on a Tuesday until further notice.
There will be a link to this week's Challenge in the Courageous Homeschooling Facebook group.
Every week a new Challenge lesson will be posted.
You can write your thoughts, feelings and - most importantly - how you got on in Courageous Homeschooling Facebook support group so we can all support and encourage each other.
Happiness is not something that just happens - it's something we need to work on all the time. So come and join us!
The First Challenge lesson was posted in the group on Tuesday January 7th 2020.
